Capability
Programme communications
Multilingual publication and localisation, so material developed anywhere in the network reaches each market in its own language.
A local program provider’s task is to make the Programme understood and accepted in its own market. Much of what is needed already exists, developed at group level or by a provider in another country that has solved the same problem, but sits in the wrong language and the wrong regulatory idiom.
Programme communications moves material in both directions: outward from the network into each market, and inward from each market back into the network. It is operated by Digital Local Currency Studio Limited, which has widened from design into the group’s publishing and media function.
What the function produces
- Translation and localisation of programme material, adapted to local regulatory language rather than translated literally.
- Seasonal and annual publications circulated across the network, so each market can see what has been built elsewhere.
- Explanatory material for member banks, their staff, and the public bodies they answer to.
- Press and media handling for the Programme within each market.
- Reference material that carries part of the training load, since a member bank employee should be able to learn a good deal by reading.
